When the virtual machine was running on Server 2008, the typical response time is 0.7 seconds.
We have an Apache server running a small database. However, network performance, both within the virtual machine (localhost) and over the network is much worse. I did a performance test on the new solid state drive, and it's slightly faster than the old drive.
I exported the VM and installed Windows 10 on a brand new solid state drive on the SAME hardware. I have an existing Virtual Machine running Ubuntu on a Windows Server 2008 Host
